Beginning her career in private practice and contract work in 1999, Edith founded Couch Counseling, PC in 2000. Here, she's provided specialized counseling for individuals across various age groups, employing methods ranging from play therapy techniques to cognitive-behavioral therapy.
Furthermore, her engagement with the Calhoun County court systems, both in Family and Criminal Courts, showcases her versatility as a therapist and commitment to broader societal change. Her affiliation with Jacksonville Board of Education as a counselor reflects her passion for youth mental health and well-being.
While her work speaks volumes, her educational background, featuring a B.S. in Criminal Justice and M.S. in Community Agency Counseling from Jacksonville State University, provides a robust foundation for her professional endeavors.
